rush of memories

mandy just sent me a collage of bangkok trip last yr..memories of happiness..joy..laughter..stress..tension..everything is coming back to me right now..
when i stepped in there for the first time i felt nostalgic..reminded me of my hometown..being stuck in the traffic jam for hours..crowded streets..dirty alleys..tuktuks..non stop bargainings..open manholes..hawkers..oh well sth was certainly new..the transsexuals!..
at one of the watson's the salesGIRL who was trying some foundation on my skin, with my terror i realised it wasnt a she afterall ..a he or he-she or she-he or WATEVER!
i loved bangkok..but obviously it surprised me thinking of their knowledge of english..even after so many tourists visit bangkok every year..man i was almost on the verge of being an expert of sign language. the guides at some artist/architect's house spoke exactly the same sentences..each and every of them..i wonder if they knew any english sentences beyond that.
and as me mandy and 2 other friends were passing by some stupid junkyard kind of place at nite we were approached by some aged man in funky cloths who asked "you guys are interested in sexy shows? we have many sexy shows here..come come.
"wth!!@*&do we look like we need some sexy shows?? hello uncle what is it? some sleezy club where men strip? or what? if not ..do we look like lesbos trying to establish our rights and landed in bangkok?
anyways great food oh i loved it..and some cool places to visit..

finally

submission is over and we just went out to town after many years..oh well felt like that..orchard road is already having the chritstmas lightup. for me i really like it and i would say this is one of the nicest things that happen in singapore and ofcors i would always vote for tangs to have the unique most decorations. this time they r having some patterns looked like gates of mughal palaces. oh well though i didnt get whats the relation between mughals( a bit islamic architecture) and christmas. but anyways thats not for me to be bothered of.. i just wanna enjoy the lighting. yess!

pre-eid and eid celeb with the hommies

finally the bangla sch team decided to have a pre eid get together and it was nice meeting them after such a long time..two yrs to be exact..

then today eid was kinda boring until i met the bengs..i always do meet them on eid..oh well we had a paki and one indian and one gangster lookign guy joining(i am suspicious aout his ident)..we ate at this banana leaf appollo at little india where they served us on fresh banana leaves(i can see it was fresh cos was visibly so dirty ahem)..the food was soo damn spicy..farahs bf is handsome but khat heh;)..i hope she dosnt read my blog..anyways we wer suppose to go for movies but me anita and fazley ended up jalan jalaning at mustafa..anyways..a great evening!
